Heathergems Jewellery

Established in the 1950’s, Heathergems is a unique and imaginative range of Scottish jewellery and giftware, made in Pitlochry  from natural heather stems. They are the only manufacturers of this unique Scottish product anywhere in the world.

Heathergems are made using hand harvested heather. This is picked when it no longer provides any nutrients to the local wildlife. Harvesting the heather encourages new growth, supporting the Scottish landscape.

Once the heather is picked, it is compressed, dyed and cut to shape. This process creates some dramatic and unique colours and ensures that no two heathergems pieces are the same. All items are silver plated except the Teardrop Pendant, which is on sterling silver findings and chain.
